REQUIREMENTS
- Looking for a customer-focused Data Engineer who can analyse building metrics and insights, utilizing state-of-the-art big data and analytic tools
- You should have deep expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets and combining data from different data sources
- You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and to build data sets that answer those questions. Above all you should have strong curiosity and willingness to rapidly experiment to draw insights and drive change
- Demonstrated strength in SQL, data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing
- Experience using Python, R, Scala, or other scripting languages to automate data retrieval, manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization
- Linux/UNIX
- Experience using AWS technologies (Redshift, Athena, S3, AWS Quick Sight)
- Industry experience as a Data Engineer or related specialty (e.g., Software Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist) with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets
- Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
- Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
